Arctic Vortex or not, it's the depth of winter and baby it's COLD outside! Watching my neighbor's cat huffing and puffing his way across our yard at sunrise like a tiny, furry steam locomotive brought home the fact that pets and animals breathe much more visually in frigid winter weather.
I love that the movies of this age have embraced high-end fantasy concepts. As a complete SF and Fantasy geek, this is a great age in which to live. With the visual effects technology available these days, we are seeing more and more realistic visions of these mythical creatures--though, as you may or may not agree--some of the old-style effects work holds up quite well. Without further ado: Here are my Top 10 dragons in the movies.
I have something of an obsession with snails; and not in the "let's preserve them way." They are delicious. And when I looked at that big guy in the picture on the right, I must admit that my mind went through multiple recipes. But, while I may like them as a dish, I still find them fascinating--and the other wildlife in this video are equally as interesting.
Can cats eat corn? You betcha, and a multitude of internet images do not lie! While our feline friends are obligate carnivores and non-meat foodstuffs like grapes, onions and chocolate are to be avoided, vegetables such as corn are just fine when enjoyed in moderation. As for these cats cheerfully chomping corn on the cob, moderation is the fur-thest thing from their minds. With that said, let the niblet nom-nom-nomming begin!
