We can wish all we want that when we leave the house for the day, our
cats find something to do other than sleep.  If they did, perhaps we
would get better sleep at night, while they are dancing around finding
absolutely everything engaging, especially our bed covers.

One of the most common types of canine cancer and the number one cause
of canine death, cutaneous mast cell tumor, has been treated with
steroids and antihistamines and various human oncology drugs for
years.  Finally, a specific oncology drug for these specific canine
cancers has been developed and approved for veterinary use:  Palladia
(toceranib phosphate) produced by Pfizer Animal Health Inc.

talkers, the don't-mess-with-me's of the 1940's and early 50's.  So
too, this English bull dog named Sam could be the fashion setter for
the tough barkin' dog.  "Hey babe, lets go to the burbs t'night and chase some cats up some telephone poles."

Taking a car trip with your pets this summer?  You already know that
every inch of room in the car will be precious, so packing your pet's
necessities will involve some good space economy.  I just found a
wonderful container -- I mean "Travel-tainer" -- that combines pet food
with pet bowls and packs them quite compactly in a 7 x 5.25 inch
container with a handle for easy transport.

After nearly two years of writing this column, I have yet to touch on the subject of the death of a pet. Oh, I've seen some lovely, very personal gravestones and urns for pets; it just hurt too much to write about them. But today, when I read about Soft-Hearted Pillows, I knew I had to share these with you... perhaps because a Soft-Hearted Pillow is the most gentle way yet to let our pets "go," and know that they will still be with us.
