One shop in the Scottish Borders learned that one the hard way when an 18-year-old cat decided to take up residence in the front window. The shop owners tried to move the senior citizen on, but she was having none of it.

I admire people that rescue animals.  That's how I got my giant cat, actually.  He showed up at my front door (about the size of a ping-pong ball) and we took him in.  But to have the fortitude to save this little blind dog... well, that's a special set of people.  Get out the tissues--this one is a tear-jerker... albeit a tear-jerker of the good kind.
