CGI Animal Art of Thomas Mangold

Thomas Mangold is an accomplished artist who frequently uses animal art in very creative ways in all sorts of award winning advertisements. Like, for example, this parasitic pachyderm used in a German business magazine "Wirschaftswoche;"

This less than subtly disguised torpedo makes this animal art effective, and, hopefully, influential. Mangold's World Wildlife Foundation image, among several others, won Epica awards, and rightfully so. Take a look:

This animal art computer generated photography depicts an unfortunate "Hot-Wheels" encounter. The mouse art below is one of the more evocative story telling animal images of Mangold's.

Image is very important to some of the creatures in Mangold's animal art, but not nearly as much so for others. Take this octopus from Mangold's animal art for Sony's Playstation, and compare it to the giraffe (another Epica award winner) that is hoping desperately for slow lions!
