dogs representing 150 breeds will be taking part in the annual event
that is now in its 18th year.

A cluster dog show differs from a regular dog show in that it is two or more events being held jointly by more than one club at one venue over several consecutive days.

The events include agility trials, demos in dog dancing and flyball, and of course the daily competition to ultimately crown the Best in Show.

The most anticipated dog competing in the show is Swagger, a 20-month-old English sheepdog, who just came off a second place win at the Westminster Dog Show. Swagger will be competing this weekend in Denver before taking off to compete in yet another show in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Attendees will be offered the chance to learn more about the breeds represented. For a schedule, list of events, and a guide to dog show etiquette are all available at

The Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog Show runs through February 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5 for adults. Children are admitted free. No dogs are allowed unless they are registered participants in the show.
