A strikingly beautiful cat named Narnia displays facial fur split perfectly down the middle, resulting in a unique 'two-faced' look that's launched him to internet stardom.

Narnia is an otherwise ordinary English Shorthair cat who lives in France with his human, Stéphanie Jimenez (below). His dramatic appearance was apparent from the moment he was born in March of 2017 at Chatterie de la Grâce, Jimenez' cat breeding facility in Paris, France.

Narnia differs from Venus, another notable “two-faced” cat, in that both of his eyes are the same color. Even so, Narnia's complementary combination of light gray and deep black facial fur reflects an elegant beauty that's neither garish not jarring.

Experts state Narnia, Venus and other such bi-colored cats are chimeras – a genetic anomaly that occurs when two non-identical twin embryos fuse together in the womb. Often the fusion is not complete, showing up visually as strictly bordered regions of different fur colors split down the animal's midline.

Jimenez has parlayed Narnia's double-take-provoking good looks into an internet presence most of us would be envious of. His Amazing Narnia Instagram page, for example, has over 103,000 followers. Narnia also has his own Facebook account and YouTube channel – owned and operated by his human “secretary”, of course.

Would you enjoy having a chimera cat like Narnia for your very own? We wouldn't be surprised if the answer is a... split decision.
