Perhaps the most famous teddy bear in the history of bears is Winnie ther Pooh. Yes, I mean "ther." If you go back and read the original book. That is what Christopher Robin insists is the bear's actual name.
Today is Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day. It would be lovely to do just that. A.A. Milne didn't have to have a special day set aside for a teddy bear at work. For a long time a teddy bear was his work. I once had a job where I kept a teddy bear on my desk. It had been a gift from a client. Now that I work at home I can take my teddy bear to work every day. On the whole he prefers to sleep in. My Pooh is a very old bear now.
