to Shark Week. It is a great way to learn about sharks. For small
children it might be just a bit too much. So start them off with
something easier. Hark! A Shark!: All About Sharks from The Cat in the
Hat's Learning Library is a great alternative for little ones.
The book is written and illustrated in the style of Dr.Seuss and employs The Cat in the Hat as your child's tour guide through the magical marine world of sharks. It even has a glossary page to help build your child's vocabulary.
With the fun help of Thing 1 and Thing 2, this book brings the story of sharks to you. It is all done in a non-threatening way, so that it won't ruin your child's day. This is really quite a very cool book. I think you'll agree if you take a look. I've now taken up enough of your time, so this is finally the end of my rhyme!
