Brexit – the UK's exit from the EU – seems inevitable after Boris Johnson's landslide election victory but these protesting pets and animals refuse to be muzzled.

Dog's Brexit: The Top 10 Protesting Pets Of Brexit

1) BoJo BowWow

Dog's Brexit: The Top 10 Protesting Pets Of Brexit

We've found the vast majority of pets/Brexit protest imagery to be of the “Remain” persuasion... in other words, “STAY!” Such would appear to be th the labradoodle-ish pooch above has in common with the mop-topped British PM is, er, their tousled coifs. 2) Cats Your Vote

Old and busted: dogfights in the Battle of Britain. New hotness: catfights in the battle over Brexit! OK, so maybe felines aren't all that enthusiastic about Brexit (or politics in general) but at least one cat-owner fighting the good fight on their pet's behalf. No doubt their precious kitteh is relaxing at home, exercising its claws on the absent owner's European-made furniture. (image via threefishsleeping)

3) Welsh Rare Brit

Won't anyone think of the Welshmen? Not to mention the Welsh women and Welsh pets? Poor old Wales is in a difficult position re Brexit: Welsh political party Plaid Cymru has but a mere 4 seats in Parliament from which to advocate the UK constituent country's interests. Good thing good doggos like this one can fly the flag – in this case, the EU flag – and thereby get some extra attention. (image via Jeremy Segrott)

4) Remain & Releash

Will the Wooferendum neverendum? Seriously, Boris, if you don't Stop Brexit then “we” will deport this dog. And by “we”, we're referring to the United Moggies of Great Britain. Sounds like somebody's got a not-so-hidden agenda up their furry sleeves. (image via duncan c)

5) Sweden the Deal

Just as people around the world have followed the years-long Brexit drama, cats – such as “Misse” from Sweden – are keeping a tiger-eye on the TV news. UK PM Boris Johnson's final push to Get Brexit Done may be the final straw for Misse... odds are she knocked that tablet right off the table mere seconds after this photo was taken. 6) Never Mind the Brexit

“It's not a done deal”, states the fine print on this Stop Brexit sticker from October of 2017. Been a lot of water under London Bridge since then, mind you, and more un-done deals than you can shake a stick at. We just hope this particular anti-Brexit pet's owner was gentle when he peeled that adhesive sticker off his poor pooch's fur. Good thing it wasn't stuck to its bollocks, eh wot? 7) Owl Remain

So where are the Birds of Brexit? We found this one, or at least a representation of one, and it's pro-EU to boot. Meet “Libby”, an artwork by Julia Trickey, one of the Minerva's Owls of Bath 2018 exhibition at Green Park Brasserie in Bath, UK. More like “BirdBath”, amiright? Anyhow, nice half-pair of hooters ya got there, Julia. (image via Loz Pycock

8) Charles in Charge

While Prince Charles isn't supposed to be overtly political, King Charles (a King Charles Spaniel, to be exact) is blessedly unimpeded from such restrictions. While things haven't gone all that well for King Charles' historically, dedicated Remainers are hold out hope a King Charles like the one above could throw a Spaniel into the works. 9) Canned Brexit

According to the labels on these parody dog foods, the blue can is a “recipe for disaster” while each purple can supposedly “contains real unicorn”. The pair of terriers don't appear to care either way, however, with the typical doggo dogma being “don't care, ate dinner”. (image via Garry Knight)

10) It's a bEaUtiful Thing

Never mind his bollocks, it's the... well, we're not really sure what this dude is, other than favoring the UK remain a part of the European Community. The real question is, does the EU want any association with this guy? As for his dog, it's obviously tired of the endless debating and just wants to go home for a long, peaceful snooze. Indeed, were the pooped pup to run for office on that platform, it would probably win. (image via Sian Burkitt
