 A pair of French videographers, Xavier Hubert-Brierre and Michel Guiss
Djomou, have placed camera traps along the jungle roadside close to
Nyonié, Gabon to see rare glimpses of the region’s tropical wildlife.
While their videos of troops of mandrills and gorillas on the move are
impressive, it was their innovative idea to place a large mirror by the
roadside to capture the reactions of the native fauna that made for
particularly entertaining cinematography.

A breed of goats known as Fainting Goats suffer from "fainting" spells where they just
suddenly fall over and lie motionless. While the action is a result of
panic, it is not actually fainting since the animal does not lose
consciousness. Instead the goat's muscles freeze up suddenly, causing it
to keel over.

Have you ever wanted your very own pet dinosaur, but lack
the funding, technology and scientific understanding of how to clone
long-extinct creatures? Don’t be disappointed that the dinos probably aren’t
coming back anytime soon; everyone wanted to play fetch with an allosaurus,
iguanodon or ankylosaurus at some point. Besides, who would look forward to feeding,

centuries. Ancient Egyptians created a large collection of gods and goddesses, most of whom were often depicted as part human and part animal. One of the most important of these gods was Anubis. While some refer to him as the god of the dead, his duties were more specific to a civilization whose population revered death.
