The American Public Health Association (APHA) has prepared 'Ready, Pet, Go,'
a public service calendar for kids and adults on the importance of
being prepared in case of an epidemic or natural disaster, occurrences
that are more prevalent every year.  The calendar is about teaching kids
(and adults!) protective tips through lessons learned from animals and
even insects like bees!  Read on to see some of the neat photos and

The Denver Zoo has had several animals temporarily added to its exhibits and they don't need feeding, veterinary services, or room to run. That is because these animals are amazing sculptures made of Lego® blocks by artist Sean Kenney. These incredible pieces of art will be on display at the zoo from now until November 1st.

History's version of Leonardo da Vinci's
great painting of the Mona Lisa has been distorted over time.  Though
historians now claim that the Mona Lisa had recently drawn smoke from
the Great Master's pipe, and that the pleasant, peaceful sensations she
was feeling were reflected in that 'enigmatic' smile, a Russian web site
now reveals that the smile was induced by no less than the 25-pound,
purring cat Ms. Lisa was holding on her lap.
