Pet calendars have become so clever and creative that this year I've
decided to separate the cat calendars from the dog ones. No one seems to
be very creative with the remaining species
of pets, but that's my complaint every year. So, off we go into kitty
land and the artists that express them so well in the 2011 Cat Wall
Here's one difference between dog and cat lovers. Cat lovers love cats;
dog lovers love specific breeds of dogs. Generalization? Well, that's
what calendar publishers are telling us, because they print far more
breed specific calendars about dogs than cats. I sent my dog Coca out
digging for the doggone delightful ones and he came back with some -
very proud of himself.

Pets do make hot accessories, just ask all of those celebrities who carry their teeny, tiny dogs around like the pets are their favorite purses. While we have seen some weird accessories overtime that incorporate animals and fashion, this design just might take the cake and alarm animal activists around the world.
With Christmas commercialism in mind, it
shouldn't come as much of a surprise to you that pet lovers and even
their pets are "special" during the eight days of Hanukkah. This year, the array of cat and dog menorahs abound, and I even found some cat and dog Hanukkah dreidels! Here's a bunch of the ones I found engaging....
