I've found the be-all and end-all of cat condos. It's compact; great
for apartment living, but that won't stop you from buying it, if you
live in a mansion. It goes in any room in your home; if you don't like
white, you can paint it. It's efficient, serving all of a cat's
biological needs. It's ecologically sourced from renewable forest lands
and has recycled parts. And it's just darn 'DeLuxe" stunning!
The same lab that invented InCaSe, the blood test to screen for cancer in dogs, has a new test to determine gastrointestinal cancer in cats. Unlike InCaSe, VDI-TK
is not a screening test and it cannot detect all cancers; what it can
do is quickly differentiate between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and
intestinal lymphomas, both relatively common diseases in cats.

New situations can make any cat go ballistic. A new pet in the house, especially a
cat, new furniture, a new routine may unsettle a cat, who generally likes things 'the way they
were.' One of the therapies recommended by some veterinarians for anxiety that arises in cats and
dogs, is the introduction of pheromones.
As with all furniture, you can buy mass produced cat furniture or
'designer' cat furniture. When it comes to commercial cat condos,
you're pretty much stuck with an eyesore in your living room. But if you
want to see how an interior designer achieves the ultimate marriage
between an elegant living area for humans and stunningly fitting
catsplay, you need to see what Wohnblock Design has accomplished.
