Never do this.  Ever.  I can only suspect that the guy in this video (uploaded by Africatravelchannel on April 25, 2009) has a death wish...

All I can suppose is that this guy raised this lion (and the others around him), and that they have a huge amount of trust in him.  I must admit to being a bit jealous if that's the case, because that would be quite a rewarding job--until they got hungry...
