Dr. Elsey's Premium Cat Litters- Product Review

Purchasing a quality cat litter is one of the best things you can do for your cat. They are going to be coming in contact with it several times a day, so you want to make it is not only safe, but comfortable for them as well. And yes, there is a such thing as an uncomfortable cat litter. Dr. Elsey's line of cat litters is my go-to brand, and my favorite that I have tried thus far.

The most important thing about choosing a litter is making sure that has minimal dust. If you pour litter into your litter box, and a huge cloud of dust erupts, then it is a poor choice of litter. The dust can create problems such as sneezing, and even problems more severe like asthma. Dr. Elsey's Premium Cat litter is completely free of dust, creating an easy breathing environment for your kitties.

These litters are also very easy on the paws. Some cats will avoid the litter box if the litter is too harsh on their paws. This is especially true for any declawed cats. Other litters tend to have a "rocky" type of texture that can be very uncomfortable for your kitty. Imagine sitting on a toilet seat that was made out of a rock collection! NOT fun!

There are several other litters in the Dr. Elsey line. One of my favorites is the Cat or Kitten Attract. This litter has the best clumping quality. No little bits will be left behind when you scoop out the box. This helps keep the litter box cleaner for much longer. Kitten Attract is designed for kittens 8 weeks to 1 year old. This formula is extra soft for your kittens paws. Cat Attract is perfect for cats once they have hit the 1 year mark.
