The gray whales of Laguna San Ignacio (Mexico) are known to interact
with humans in a curious, playful manner. In this case, mother whale
wants her kid to have a human experience--so she holds him up to expose
him to the people in the boat. That's a pretty cool mom, if you ask me. With such incentive to explore, this little whale may just go somewhere. Maybe he'd be the first whale to build a giant walking machine to explore land...
I can't help but wonder if the little whale was thinking, "Why is this woman screaming at me?"
