A dog in a BP gas and convenience station in Florida is greeting
customers at the drive-up window. She's wearing her uniform, a BP
golf-style t-shirt, and even sports a name card --- looks like
'Cindy.' Cindy is a great idea to attract business, and she appears to be enjoying her role.
Although my source printed this story in September 2009, before the oil spill, I was surprised when I saw the date on the story, as this is the kind of entrepreneurism that is perfect for these times, especially
when the Gulf peninsula state's beaches are about to be engulfed by BP oil.
Maybe "Cindy" is still there. And maybe other BP gas station managers should be this creative in attracting customers.
