Seeing your reflection for the first time has to be an interesting
experience; I'm old enough to not have the memory of the event. But I
can say that at least some animals react with curiousity instead of the
repulsion that I experience each morning upon first waking up...
My reaction is more like that of the silverback gorilla, except instead of punching the mirror I just breathe a dejected sigh and brush my teeth.
