This young Maasai
gentleman from Kenya kept losing his father's cows to lions. The way
that he confronted this problem was unique--and made him famous. His name is Richard Turere, and he wanted to create a way to keep the lions away from the herd without harming them.
As you can see, Turere is quite a smart kid with some ambitious goals. He's off to a good start in many ways--one of them being the understanding of how nature is all connected. He gets the concept that killing the lions was not the answer to the problem. If more people thought this way, the world would be a better place.
