searching for their missing cat. The feline had disappeared during the
crash and had not been seen since.

After several days the house was slated for demolition and as the wrecking ball took the first swing at the house the cat popped out. At first the workers thought that it was a raccoon and then they realized that it must be the missing tabby cat. One of the workers took the animal to a neighbor who rushed the cat to the vet.

He had an air pocket in his lung and a broken leg. He is doing fine now and expected to make a full recovery.

After the crash Zuul had apparently crawled inside a wall of the house and hidden out. His claws were worn down, indicating that he had be scratching and clawing his way through the wreckage of the house.

Zuul is back home with his family again, most likely minus at least a couple of his nine lives.
