I'm truly glad that the art of two-dimensional animation is still
around.  For a while it looked as though animation done on computers
would eclipse this fine art form.  Instead the two styles sometimes
merge to create something truly fantastic.  And Adam and Dog is a great example of this.  Directed by Minkyu Lee, this Oscar nominated short film, uploaded by Cristhian Izeppi on February 10, 2013, is quite poignant--and shows a touching encounter that leads to why the dog is "man's best friend."  It clocks in at just over 15 minutes--but it's worth every second.

See... told ya it was great.

Good luck to Minkyu Lee and crew at the Academy Awards (now apparently only called "The Oscars" for marketing purposes... don't get me started on that...).
