Cats love to mess about in their water bowls, but some dogs do as well, especially puppies.
If you know how much cats dislike water poured on them (how dare you?), you may be surprised that cats love to play in it. They love the light spray from your sprinklers, running water from a faucet and, yes, making the water move in their bowls. (I suspect they enjoy these activities because it's they who are in control of them.)
Dogs might want to cool their paws in their water bowls, or they may be signalling that they want attention. But excessive splashing or scratching in a water bowl might indicate a compulsive disorder. (Yes, dogs get them too!)
In this very clever bowl there's a 3-D painted goldfish that looks real, even to humans! The ceramic bowl, 4.9 inches in diameter and 1.7 inches deep, holds almost 10 ounces of water, through which your pets can watch the 'fish swim.' (If you swirl your finger around in the water, that should get them going.)
The Goldfish Dog Bowl also makes a great gift for the owner of a small pet. As always, Suck UK places its clever products in clever packaging:
I think this bowl's a winner for anyone with a small cat or dog! Get it now, or put it on your Holiday list!
