Life's anything but 'boaring' lately for residents of Glen Allen, Virginia since a mysterious white pig began roaming the neighborhood.

Glen Allen, a suburb of Richmond, Virgina hasn't seen this much excitement since the town of roughly 15,000 changed its name from “Hungary”. Truth be told, when CNNMoney ranks your town Number One on their “Top 100 Places to Live” listing twice (in 2007 and 2009), excitement isn't really what you're looking for... especially when it involves a pig.

“I was driving home from church and the pig ran right out in front of my car,” stated Jessica Howard, a Glen Allen resident. There may even be more than one pig involved. Landscaper Tracy Roberts (owner of J'Lynn land Creations) claims he's often sees the white pig – on its own or accompanied by other pigs – while working in the Alden Parke neighborhood. “The guys will try to chase them,” said Roberts, “and they'll run away. They cross the road like it's nobody's business. It's kind of funny.”

Homeowners who've invested time and money in their lawns and flower gardens aren't laughing, however. Some are taking active measures, such as putting out food, as they attempt to trap what may be an unreported escaped pet. “It looked like someone's pet,” confirmed 13-year-old Brooke Ward. “It was sniffing the grass and maybe eating a little, just kind of walking in the lawn.” Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide... actually, just give Henrico Animal Control a call if you see the pig, mmkay?
