It is July and that it means that it is time for The Running of the Bulls in Spain. This tradition has been going on in a number of small communities, most notably Pamplona, since early in the 14th century. A group of over-excited and agitated bulls are lets loose on a specified course through the city and young men try to stay ahead of the dangerous beasts. Here in the U.S. we have a different take on the whole event.

The Running of the Bulls?

You know that if we tried making bulls that ticked off and then run them through a narrow street a number of animal rights groups would be filing lawsuits. Of course, we also need to make it about money and media or there would be no point to the whole thing. Check out this video to see how we would run the bulls American style:

Okay, it's not quite as terrifying as the real thing, and some animal rights groups might still get their knickers in a twist, but it is cute and funny.

Maybe if the bulldogs were rabid they could instill this much fear. As it is it seems to be a fear of being licked to death in combination with doggy breath. Noooooooo!

In reality, of course, this is one of GEICO's latest creative and funny adds to sell insurance. It is the cutest thing since they started using that adorable Australian gecko to hawk their products. It is so cute iteven makes you forget that bulldogs drool and snore.

Yes, it is The Running of the Bulldogs! Ole!
