The Greenies for seniors are 50 percent more flexible than regular Greenies, so there is resistance to chowing down, but not enough for your dog to break a tooth on them. Like Greenies other dental bones, the Aging Care Greenies have many supportive ingredients for the health of your dog - not just to support healthy teeth and gums, but also for joint health and immune system support.
The main ingredient in Greenies is wheat gluten which contributes to the Greenies' generous protein content, but it also contains wheat flour. So, if your dog is on a gluten free diet, you might want to consider just giving him one bone a day or every other day, which doesn't amount to a lot compared to the rest of his diet. In any case, the ingredients are all natural and supportive of your dog's general health. Note that the green color is not food dye; it's green tea extract!

They go after plaque, tartar, and bad breath and are: rice flour, oat fiber, natural flavor, calcium bentonite, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, monoglycerides, canola oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), flax oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), spearmint, sodium bicarbonate, cinnamon, clove, citric acid (a preservative), L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate, glucose oxidase, alfalfa (source of chlorophyll), and rosemary extract.
Dogs may have 1-2 of the ToothPaste rolls per day.
