This humongous Snorlax Pokémon cushion might be too big to be a stuffed animal and too small to be a bed but when plush comes to shove, it's great at being both.
Snorlax, known as “Kabigon” in Japanese, is one of the most popular creatures in the Pokémon universe. It's definitely the biggest, the sleepiest, and the hungriest: in its anime & video game iterations, Snorlax nom-nom-noms up an average 880 lbs of food daily. Good thing this jumbo cushion version doesn't actually eat, though it definitely appears to sleep.
Premium Bandai refers to this plush home version of the plump Pokémon as a cushion but it's actually so much more! Standing 59” (150 cm) tall, 52” (130 cm) wide and 23.5” (60 cm) thick, this supersized Snorlax makes all other stuffed animals seem superfluous.
The Snorlax cushion is generously stuffed and even the formidable claws on its front and rear paws are eminently child-safe. You might not have a sofa big enough to accommodate a “cushion” this big but no matter – stuffed Snorlax practically IS a sofa in its own right.
As far as napping goes, kids who've dreamed of snoozing on Snorlax's soft belly can now have their dreams made real... provided a well-heeled adult plunks down the necessary 52,000 yen (roughly $480).
