It’s been a long time coming, but ‘ol Scribbles has finally gotten her fill of both varieties of Puppy Dust. Let’s see exactly how my little buddy feels about the all-natural kibble enhancer:
The canisters of Puppy Dust made me think “Oh, it’s like fish food for dogs!” Seriously, it’s a classic design that works well to house the treat, while looking good on your pet’s food shelf. On top of all that, I was excited to get Scribbles to eat a little more with the help of the wholesome Peanut Butter & Honey Puppy Dust due to its simple and healthy ingredient list:
“oat flour, rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, flax, canola oil, egg, baking powder” Yummy! The dust itself has a thickness similar to parmesan cheese, but I might just think that because they both share a similar container.
I poured a little bit in my hand, and offered it as a treat to Scribble to see how she’d react. Since she goes nuts for peanut butter, I thought that she would have excitedly licked my hand clean. Nope. She ran and hid under my bed because she thought I was trying to give her medicine. Whoops….
Afterward, I sprinkled her kibble with the Peanut Butter & Honey Puppy Dust and waited to see how she would take to her enhanced meal. She sniffed it, ate it, and make a face that can only be described as “Wha? I’m eating kibble, but It tastes like peanut butter! This is weird… I’d better eat some more just in case this isn’t a freak thing…” While peanut butter flavored kibble confused her at first, she continued to chow down and she quickly understood that “normal food + peanut butter Puppy Dust = yummy food!”

She also tried out Puppy Dust’s Bacon and Cheddar flavor, but I can tell that she prefers the Peanut Butter & Honey variety. They’re both good ways to get picky or under-eating dogs to fill their bellies, and you’ll probably have a gut feeling if they’d prefer peanut butter or bacon to begin with. Although the introduction was a little rockier than I thought it should’ve been, Scribbles and I can whole heartedly vouch for Puppy Dust.
How could Puppy Dust be anything less than a winner for Scribbles? All food should taste like dessert!
