Zuke's is one of my favorite treat companies. They provide awesome treats, that are very healthy for your dog or cat, yet very affordable at the same time, with prices comparing to many popular brands from the drugstore. I have written a previous article about them and received a great response from everyone, which is what made me decide to talk about our newest treat option from Zuke's!
Zuke's recently came out with a line of treats for dogs, called the Super Treats. There are three flavors of this particular type of treat: The Super Greens, Super Betas, and Super Berry's. Each of these treats is loaded with tons of antioxidants and vitamins found in there ingredients. For example, the super green treats are composed of ingredients such as green beans, spinach, broccoli, peas, and asparagus, just to name a few. As you probably know, these popular foods are loaded with lots of antioxidants and vitamins, and are foods that we as humans are encouraged to eat on a daily basis.
Now if you are like me, you are skeptical of your dogs actually liking these treats. I know I was. I thought that if I barely like to eat these vegetables, how in the world is my dog going to want to eat them? I mean we often hear of our pets liking table food, but I have never seen a dog scarf down a handful of spinach. Nevertheless, we gave each of the three flavors a try, and surprisingly enough, my dog loved them! Scarlett was such a huge fan of each flavor that I have to keep the bags up as high as possible know, as I have come home on a few occasions to find some teeth marks in the bottom of a bag.
Zuke's treats are all natural and made in the U.S.A. They contain no wheat, corn, soy, or artificial flavors and colors. In fact, you can actually see the colors of the vegetables and/or fruits in each of the treats. The treats are super affordable which allows you to feed your dog a healthy treat instead of a not so healthy one.
Here are some images of the treats.
Here is a short list of the vegetables and/or fruits in each of the treats.
The Super Greens have green beans. broccoli, peas, spinach, and asparagus.
The Super Betas have pumpkin, carrot, sweet potato, butternut squash, and apricot.
The Super Berry's have cranberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, and cherry.
I highly recommend giving these treats a try. Not only are they healthy and good for your dog, they are affordable and delectable! (according to Scarlett).
