Cat tree design has matured. Step by step, cat condos have become cat furniture, designed not only for the pleasure of your cat, but for the pleasure of your eye.
Good Life has moved gracefully into the modern cat era with cat furniture that is multi-functional as well as good looking. And one of the nice things is that these pieces are more long-lasting, but not much more expensive than the the ones that get all ratty looking after a few years of use.
One of my favorite cat trees is the Good Life 63” Modern Design Cat Tree House with Scratching Post Tower with six covered wood floors and five horizontal scratching climbing posts on each side!
Although tall, at a bit over 5 feet, and stable with solid wood floors and paneling, I think this cat tree is made for small to medium size cats, judging from the sizes of the platforms, but measure your cat to see for sure.
There are several neat features for cats on this tree. I love the face that the lateral scratching posts can also be used as steps to climb up and down the tree, although the contoured shelves provide the means as well. The cozy cat cave at bottom is lined with a washable faux fur pad, as are two of the steps and the top-level cradle. The pad on the first step is made of woven sisal. (All pads are attached to their platforms with Velcro®.)
I like the rear 'patio' on the second step, and the two lounge areas at the top, one a cloth hanging basket, which you should definitely check out to see if it will hold your cat. Its closures may have to be sewn!
This Good Life Cat Tree House will not only be a favorite spot for your cats, but a favorite conversation piece for human visitors.
That's the buzz for today!
