What's so special about the horse in this video? The answer will surprise you. While this video has no audio, none is needed; the nature of this horse becomes readily apparent.
This "horse" is named Joey, and it was used in the film War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg. While many special effects are created using computer generated imagery, some scenes require a more intense physical interaction with not only then environment, but also with the actors and technical personal. So, you build a horse... um, well... half of a horse.
