'Cat Walk' By BWC
You don't have to upscale to get luxury for your pets, but it helps. Certainly, we would all love to provide these refinements to our dogs and cats, but if even if you can't afford them, you can dream about them.
Here are a few of the unique pet accommodations I've spotted online recently that builders are incorporating into their home designs and remodels.

Because We Can, aka BWC, has a Cat Walk built for a superior cat, that's for sure. Atop the tunnel or inside, kitty gets to peak at you when she wants to. This is BWC's Home Office For Mad Scientists, and every mad scientist has at least one cat!
2. Dog/Mud Room, Artistic Renovations of Ohio, LLC
Dogs get dirty and love to sleep, so what's better than a nice warm shower followed by a nap? You can renovate your laundry room to accommodate your pooch.

There are a variety of possibilities for large and small dog showers. You can even install a dog shower or bath in a large kitchen if you don't have a laundry room. Small dogs are easier to bathe in raised baths. It's a good idea to use a non-slip mat on the floor of a pet shower or sink so your dog doesn't slide. Some dogs are fearful of sliding and may become disoriented in a slippery sink or shower stall.
4. Hartsford-Jackson Atlanta Airport Dog Restroom

I know this wasn't designed for a home, but the dog toilet and shower would be perfect for a laundry or large bathroom.
Keiji Hirose, architect and owner of Fauna+DeSIGN, named this room the Cats' House but the "house" is really just a pretty large room. If you love design and, especially, if you love cats, visit The Cats' House and watch the short videos of cats wandering through their "house," some of them wearing cameras, to the accompanying classical piano.
6. Custom Cat Climbing Wall

This looks like so much fun. Just be careful when you're going up the stairs that you don't have the long arm of the law reaching out to scratch your head from the wall!
7. Built In Kitchen Counter Dog Kennel, Betsy Bassett Interiors

This is definitely one of my favorite pet accommodations. Dogs are always under your feet when your in the kitchen, and this guarantees they'll still smell or hear a burger when it drops onto the floor.
8. Pull Out Dog Feeders By Wellborn Cabinets

Notice that this Pull Out Dog Feeder is installed under a doggy nook!
Here's a modification you can create on your own. The CatastrophiCreations Cat Mod Garden Complex comes with a neat variety of cat claw-friendly jumping off points, scratching surfaces, and snoring surfaces. You can supply your own cat-friendly plants.
10. Dog Pantry By Wood-Mode

Imagine keeping all of your dog's food, meds, coats, leashes, toys, etc.... in one area! I even notice there's a bath sink off to the right of the storage area. Could there be a nook for a dog bed as well?
Dream on, dream on....
